About TMS Configure

Founded in June 2005 as a response to the Disability Act 2005, Configure Limited is today the leading access specialist in Ireland.

In April 2009 Configure joined with TMS Consultancy and together formed TMS Configure which provides all of the access consultancy services that Configure once offered and more.

TMS Configure is part of the TMS Consultancy group which provides training and consultancy services in quality, environment, health and safety, information security and software.

TMS Configure’s number one priority is to make sure the customer is offered the most appropriate solutions for converting existing inaccessible premises to barrier free and universally accessible environments.

Skills

TMS Configure encourages all its employees to develop their abilities and improve their skills on an ongoing basis. Many of our staff have followed the University of Ulster Universal Accessibility course. As standards and best practice references evolve over time, our research team keeps an active database and library of the latest thinking in practical solutions to improving access in a wide range of contexts. TMS Configure’s continual professional development policy means that many of our staff are also part time postgraduate students of surveying and construction modules at local colleges.

As Ireland’s largest disabled access solution provider, Configure has developed a solid reputation among all its customers in both the public and private sectors. Our wide range of clients means that our auditors have gathered experience and applied their learning across all types of built environments. These include such varied settings as auditing access to ships on Clare Island, colleges, schools, factories, churches, hospitals, train stations throughout the country and each and every street in Dublin City.
Good access for all is about removing barriers and our building and consultancy team provide solutions for every situation.

Since the Disability Act 2005 there is a greater awareness in Ireland of the barriers which prevent people from actively participating in society.
